Marina Search began to take form in 2005 to fill an increasing demand from boaters to find marinas, marine services, and nautical information quickly, easily, and all in one place. Today's mariner is more technologically savvy than the salty dogs of yore. Many sailors have laptops or computers aboard their vessels which they use for e-mail, checking the weather and tides, and numerous other activities. Because of this, many marinas now offer wireless internet to their members and guests so they can access this information.
Our founder got tired of having to visit seven to ten different sites just to get some basic information on
a specific cruising area he planned to visit; after discussing his frustrations with many other mariners, he found they were having the same troubles as well. He decided that he would design a site that contained all the information that he was looking for and Marina Search was born.
Marina Search offers boaters the ability to search for marinas, marine products & services, boat slips and boat dockage, and many other resources all in one spot. Marina Search is designed by mariners for mariners so the information contained within this website is strictly dedicated to serving all your nautical needs.
The goal of Marina Search is two-part:
First, provide every visitor with the tools to locate and review marinas, marine resources, and products and services within the marine industry;
Second, to enable every marina and marine service provider to harness the power of their individual location, products and services.
MarinaSearch.net promises to provide their clients with the tools to be competitive, more efficient, more responsive and more effective in the marine industry.
Marina Search is not just a collection of business listings; it is a living, thriving, and dynamic community of mariners who all want information about their next destination, quickly, easily, and all in one place.
